What a Year!
Thanks for joining us once again as we close out 2020. This has been one heck of a year, to say the absolute least, and we couldn't be happier to have you with us as we bring it to a close! Free Content Friday 2020 December Releases!
Can you believe it has been a whole year already, and that it is now time for our December release of our Free Content Friday 2020 run! Here is a quick breakdown of the program and what you can expect this month:
Free Content Friday is a program at Hunters Entertainment where we collaborate with industry veterans and members of our amazing community to bring fresh and free content to our games. So, what are we bringing you this time?
With Outbreak: Undead.. you'll be getting another wonderful piece of an ongoing saga, "Old Man and the Z" gets a further deep dive for you to use at your tables! Come and explore "Bart's Lighthouse" presented in exquisite detail by lead developer, Christopher J. De La Rosa, and really shine some light on this Safehouse that just might provide some reprieve from the hordes of dead. Or you could always adapt it to your needs, and easily insert it into any campaign you like!
With our Powered by Kids on Bikes line we are doing something fun and different to bring something more to your home games of Kids on Bikes! We have put together a special audio release filled with hooks and stings that you can use at your table. Let me, your humble Hunters Gathering Blog author, allow Doug Levandowski to explain it all to you:
A few weeks ago, I got a bunch of folks from Kids on Bikes actual play podcasts to join me for a few hours of goofing around and recording audio hooks. If you'd like to include these in your campaign, it's as easy as playing them for your players! They range from somewhat serious to seriously silly, and as I'm sure you'll hear in the recordings, we had a LOT of fun recording them. If there are hooks that you'd like to hear in the future, let us know! We're likely to do this again in the future!

Explore a possible future where the planet is covered by forest as we explore "The Worldwood" created once again by our wonderful community member, Maeglin Lossehelin. Dive in with fantastical technology and explore the ruins of a bygone world before your own civilization falls too!
That covers this month's new free content that you can download over on DriveThruRPG (and it is available right now), but don't forget that you can also get involved by creating content for the program. Just send an email to Alex with a pitch for a content release, and if we approve the idea you'll get to work it up professionally with the team and be paid for your work! Shipping Things!
For those of you out there who have backed one of our recent Kickstarter Campaigns, either Altered Carbon: The Role Playing Game or Alice is Missing: A Silent Role Playing Game, we wanted to say that things are underway and you'll be getting your hands on content shortly (with some of you having some items already). Specifically, the Alice is Missing content is shipped and some should have it already while others may be getting it very soon as it is in route. For Altered Carbon the content is being sorted and packaged up so that it can be shipped out to all of you soon at which point we'll follow-up with a Backer Update (and as a reminder the Hello Unicorn Carrying Case will not be part of this first wave of shipping as previously discussed). So, what do you need to know right now as a backer of these?
Honestly, not a whole lot other than to just keep a look out! We're very excited for everyone to be able to start getting their games and fun accessories in hand.
Ragnarock Development Continues!
We know that you're really excited about our upcoming Gods of Metal: Ragnarock heavy metal role playing game, and believe me we've been having a blast sharing all sorts of behind the scenes treats with you for it. We've been having a load of playtesting happening, including industry veterans and members of our own community. This is allowing for the fine tuning of the gameplay mechanics and further development of the world.
While all of that is going on, we're also at a place in development where we can have a nice focus on art. We've been working with some very talented folks to forge the most brutally epic artwork that a game like Ragnarock demands. And since we've been having so much fun showing you a bit behind the scenes we thought we'd let you take a little look at some! Feast your eyes upon the glory of the Amplord! Credit to the amazingly talented Matt Mooney for this absolutely metal piece.
Hunters Live on Twitch!
Don't forget that Hunters Entertainment doesn't just bring you games for your table, but we have an official Twitch channel bringing you some of the best gaming industry media available today. Our team has been hard at work lining up outstanding Liveplay shows every Tuesday at 6pm PT / 9pm ET for Hunters Presents which is currently featuring an ongoing Outbreak: Undead.. campaign entitled "Rag & Bone" with an outstanding cast and Gamemaster Noxweiler Berf. Then every Friday we go behind the scenes, again at 6pm PT / 9pm ET, we bring you Hunters Gathering Live as our wildly talented host Markeia McCarty cooks up fun and unique experiences just for you.
And, wouldn't you know it, today is Friday which means we have a Hunters Gathering Live happening tonight. Join Markeia and her guest, Noxweiler Berf, as they chat about Outbreak: Undead.. GM Dos and Don'ts while they paint the soon to be delivered Altered Carbon Minis! There is bound to be a load of interesting conversation and a great look at those sweet miniatures that you won't want to miss.
